That looks like a fake taco... the original shawarna is made with pita bread, no tortilla is used.

Hey you can always use that shwarma meat spit for mexican style meats (carnitas, barbacoa, pollo, etc) or even pork belly! No need to let it go completely to waste

If he wants to make his own shawarma, that's fine. But what right does he have to say that this is the same one from the film? He doesn't know what the sandwich actually looks like.

You did an amazing job making this culturally acceptable even with modern techniques! I'm extremely impressed and I love that you're showing people easy ways to make traditionally scary meals to prepare.

Hey Babby (obligatorily yet truly: love your videos, of course), but just thought you should know you didn't really make tabouleh, you made Israeli salad, essentially, (which has a much higher tomato/cucumber content), whereas tabouleh is almost exclusively parsley with only a little bit of the other ingredients (and both salads should include some white wine vinegar at some point too!) Edit: also the tahini you made is what's referred to as 'raw tahini' which is the main ingredient in tahini sauce (usually just called tahini, confusingly) which is then blended with lemon juice, a dash of water, salt, and occasionally (not often) a clove of raw garlic to make the ubiquitous white-ish sauce found in shawarma restaurants from here to the Middle East (I believe the lemon turns it white).
